Adding Bulletin Posts

Adding Bulletin Posts

Brokers & Office Managers can communicate with members of their office/brokerage through the Bulletins widget which is prominently displayed on the My BLC Home Page within connectBLC (see example below).

Messages within the Bulletins widget are organized by source (i.e., Alerts, BLC, etc.) & messages posted by a Broker/Office Manager will be available from the Company tab for all members of the office/brokerage. Individual users can customize the location of the Bulletins widget within their My BLC Home Page, but it will always remain at the top of the column ensuring transparent & timely communication. Please visit the Bulletins Widget page to learn more.

All messages can be customized with different content types, including links, and can be displayed to certain members within an office/brokerage for any certain amount of time.

To add a message within the Bulletins widget for your brokerage/office:

  1. Select Settings from the Settings and Sign-Out Menu.
  2. Navigate to the Manage Office section & select Manage company/office bulletins.
  3. Click Add New Message.
  4. Enter the subject and body of your message. You can choose between a number of different content types for the body of your message including a rich text editor, a link to a different site or landing page, or a document on your device. Check the box next to each option to preview or add content to the body of the message.
  5. You can designate which types of members of your office/brokerage should be able to see the message. Click any user type to include them. Use CTRL + click to include multiple user types. You can also specify whether the message should display to all offices within your company by checking the associated box.
  6. You can also assign a level of priority to your message by selecting from the dropdown menu. Messages that have a “High” priority will display in the Bulletins widget with a red exclamation point in front of the subject in order to draw additional attention to the post.
  7. Finally, select the date range that you would like to display the message during. If you would like a message to always display within the Bulletins widget, check the box next to “Never expire”. You can also choose whether to archive the message after its expiration date (if applicable) from the corresponding checkbox.

8. Click Save to post your message within the Bulletins widget.

At any time, you can view & manage the messages that you have posted from within the Manage company/office bulletins page. Click on the message’s title or the Pencil icon to edit the message settings or content. Click Preview to view the message as it will appear when clicked from within the Bulletins widget. You can also click the Stats icon to see how many users have viewed the message.

Note: Your membership account/login ID must be set to a Broker/Office Manager role to add messages within the Bulletins widget. Please contact the MIBOR Help Desk if you feel you should have the permission, but don’t have access to the Manage Company section.
