BrokerBay Notifications for Non-BLC Agents (Custom Contacts)

BrokerBay Notifications for Non-BLC Agents (Custom Contacts)

If a real estate professional who is not a subscriber of the Broker Listing Cooperative requests a showing on a listing in the BLC covered service area, the contact record is not available to BrokerBay and must be created as a Custom Contact.

Custom Contact Notifications - Custom Contacts can receive notifications once the Listing Agent approves them. See the three steps below.

1. When a Custom Contact is scheduled for a showing, the Listing Agent will receive an email asking them to "Approve" the custom contact in order for them to start receiving notifications:

2. After clicking on "Approve" it will be clear that the Custom Contact has been approved:

3.  Upon Listing Agent approval, the BrokerBay Platform will immediately send the Custom Contact an email with the showing’s current status (requested, approved, cancelled, time change). The showing will then be actioned as per the listing’s configuration in BrokerBay (Auto-Confirm, Listing Agent to Confirm, Seller to Confirm). Note, access Instructions will be provided by email immediately after both the Contact AND showing have been approved.
