Default Setting Options in connectBLC



In this section of your Settings page, you can change your personal default settings for Prospecting defaults, Search & Report defaults, and Client Portal defaults.

  • Prospecting Defaults: Specify key settings that will be used each time you create a prospect search. The settings here can be overridden when you create or change individual searches. When prospecting searches are created with specific details for clients, you can specify key settings from this page which will be used each time you create a prospect search. The settings here can be overridden when you create or change individual searches.
    • Default Detailed Client Report: Select a default detailed report to display to your clients when they view the properties you send. From this section you can select the preferred Default Detailed Report that clients will access when they click the Address link on their brief report when viewing prospecting results. Selections can be made for each property type.
    • Default Client Tax Report: If you granted your clients the ability to view tax reports for properties you send, then you can specify which tax report. 
    • Client Activity Notification: Here you can choose to be notified every time one of your clients mark interest in a property that you send them. connectBLC automatically saves your client’s interest levels on properties that you send them. Here you can choose to be notified every time any of your clients mark interest in a property.
    • Listing Email Format: Choose whether to include a property summary and photo in the listing emails you send to clients.
    • Miscellaneous Automated Search Settings: Manage what and how notifications are sent. Here you can select additional defaults to suit your prospect preferences.
  • Email Template Defaults: Message templates can be used to send personalized emails to your clients. In this section, you may select your preferred Email Templates for initial results, new or changed results, and zero-match results. You can modify saved email notification templates from this page as well.

Search & Report Defaults: Specify key settings that will be used each time you search for and view property listings.From this page, you can specify key settings that will be used each time you search for and view property listings. On this page, you can also determine what information will be displayed on each listing report that you generate.
      • Number of properties displayed on a single page in 1-line summaries: When you view property search results in a 1-line summary, you may want to see more or fewer listings on a single page. From this page you can select the number of properties that display per page when viewing 1-line summaries.
      • Default Listing Reports: For each class you search, you can specify the preferred 1-line summary and detailed report to use.
      • Default Report Footer: Select the information you would like to display at the bottom of printed listing reports.
      • Default Hotsheet Search Areas: Type the numbers of the areas that you would like to search in by default for the hotsheet search.
      • Default Tour/Open House Report: Specify the preferred Tour/Open House Report to be displayed.
      • Default Listing Report Text Color: Select the color to display text when printing listing reports.
      • Default Search Criteria: Specify whether or not you want your Default Search or Last Search to load whenever you access the Search page.
      • Listing Email Preferences: Choose whether or not to automatically BCC yourself on searches and outbound emails.
      • Navigation Preferences: Choose your preferred list navigation orientation.
