How do I open my Master Lock lockbox using the Vault app?

With Masterlock’s electronic Bluetooth technology, primary authorized users can open their Masterlock boxes and remove the shackle with the tap of a button. This requires the user to have downloaded and logged into the Vault Enterprise app.

To open the lockbox from the Vault app:

1. Open the Vault app – it should be on the Locks tab by default.

2. Press any button on the lockbox. This will “wake” the box, and the lights on the buttons will turn blue.

3. In the app, under the Authorized list, the tab of the woken lockbox will turn white, and a blue key icon appears. Users can also view all awake lockboxes within range under the Awake tab, if needed.

Tap on the blue key icon in the app.

4. Listen for the front door of the lockbox to click, and wait for the circle (reset) button on the box to turn green before pulling the door open.

5. If a user taps on a Lock tab, it will open the Lock Details screen specific to that device.

6. When the lockbox is awake, the options to Remove Shackle and Unlock Door appear as buttons at the bottom of the screen. Here, users can also unlock the door by tapping the button and repeating step 5.
