How do I remove the shackle of my Masterlock lockbox using the Vault app?

To remove the shackle with the Vault app, the registered lockbox owner must:

1. Open the Vault app – it should be on the Locks tab by default.

 


2. Press any button on the lockbox. This will “wake” the box, and the lights on the buttons will turn blue.


3. In the app, under the Authorize list, the tab of the Awake lockbox will turn white, and a blue key icon appears. Users can also view all Awake lockboxes within range under the Awake tab, if needed.

 4. Tap on the white Lock tab. This will open the Lock Details screen specific to that device.



5. When the lockbox is awake, the options to Remove Shackle and Unlock Door appear as buttons at the bottom of the screen. Here, users can tap Remove Shackle, listen for the shackle lock to click, and wait for the circle (reset) button on the box to turn green before pulling the shackle from the box.
