Map Search - Search While Moving Map

The Search While Moving Map feature is always available in the bottom left-hand corner of any Map view, & provides the ability to use the mapping area’s dimensions as a Search filter.

The number of results available will update automatically as the map is adjusted (by zooming in/out or clicking & dragging to change the location). In most cases, the Search While Moving Map feature is disabled by default, with the ability to enable it at any point by checking the corresponding box. With this release however, there are three circumstances in which the Search While Moving Map feature will be automatically enabled.

Scenarios in which Search While Moving Map Will be Automatically Enabled

1.      Upon selecting Map Search from the Search dropdown menu

  2.      Upon selecting Show Map from the Search Filters page

       3.       Upon selecting Click here to draw or select boundaries from the Search Filters page

 

*Note: the feature can still be disabled from any of the scenarios above by deselecting the associated checkbox.
