The light turns green, but my lockbox will not open.
When this happens, it is often times related to something within the key container that has caused the internal motor to lose contact with the front door of the lockbox.
The solution: Push on the door as if pushing it closed. This should reconnect the inner locking mechanism, allowing the motor to engage properly. If the compartment still will not open, but you get the green light AND hear a click, try holding the box flat on its back. This will move the key or object keeping the mechanism from engaging away from the door, and allow it to open.
