Feature Enhancements
Buyer Agent’s Commission Field Update
Due to National Association of Realtors (NAR) settlements, certain MLS data feeds
have removed commission fields to comply with new regulations. Currently, BrokerBay
requires the Buyer Agent's Commission field on listing pages. As a step towards
meeting compliance and industry standards, BrokerBay has made the Buyer Agent's
Commission field optional on both Edit Listing and Create Listing pages for all clients.
This will ensure that the field does not prevent listings from being Saved.
Login Error Message Update for TRREB
Currently, when users attempt to access BrokerBay through TRREB and a login issue is
encountered, the call to action message directs users to Go back to TREB, reflecting
TRREB-specific branding. To align with TRREB's shift in branding, the call to action has
been adjusted to Go back, while maintaining the same functionality.
Unverify Users Logic Adjustment
The hourly backend roster update, which contributes to unverifying users, incorporates a safeguard
against mass unverifications from the same brokerage that could be caused by feed issues or
incomplete roster pulls. While crucial for protection, there may be isolated instances where a user
isn't automatically unverified during the next hourly update. Threshold values for this safety measure
have been adjusted to better accommodate varying brokerage sizes.
