What do I have to do in Vault to assign my lockbox to a property?

The short answer is - nothing! You do not have to do anything in the MasterLock Vault app to associate the lockbox with the property. To assign a lockbox to a property, you have to have MasterLock selected in your BrokerBay listing configuration as the Access Type and the correct Device ID selected from the dropdown menu in your showing configurations to actually “link” the two pieces of technology together.

However, you may want to change the name of the device in your Vault app to help quickly and easily visualize which of your devices is hanging at which property. But remember – there is nothing MasterLock controls that “ties” the lockbox to the property for booking showings. 

1. Open Vault app and tap on the tab of the device name you'd like to change.

3. Tap on Lock Name field.

4. Erase and replace.

5. Tap Save in the top right corner.
