I think my lock box is defective.

Master Lock's one-year warranty will cover mechanical or physical defects but does not compensate for loss or theft. Please call our 24/7 Support Line at 317-956-1912. Our support staff will walk through some initial troubleshooting steps with you then engage Master Lock to confirm the lockbox is indeed defective.  Master Lock will file a ticket with MIBOR's Membership department to issue a replacement. Once MIBOR receives the ticket, you can receive your lockbox the same day if picking up in-person at the office. Otherwise, you can expect to receive your lockbox by within 2 Business Days when shipped.

The warranty starts from the Lock Activation date indicated within the lock box history.  You can find the activation date of your lock box within your Masterlock Vault Account by following the steps below:

Click on Locks then select the lock box in question.



Click on History.



Locate the Lock Activated line within the Event column.  


Note:  In the event that the lock box is deemed as defective while it's on a door at a property, the owner of the lock box is responsible for it's removal.   Please make arrangements for a locksmith to cut it off of the door.  MIBOR and Masterlock will NOT schedule a locksmith to remove the device.
