Improvements to the User Interface throughout connectBLC
Significant updates have been made to the Residential Add/Edit workflow, designed to support a logical methodology for listing data entry.
The following improvements to connectBLC’s design have been implemented to provide a better
experience for Agents & Clients:
• Attached/Detached prompts have been added for when a Single Family, Condo, or Townhouse
subtype is selected within the first page of the Add New Listing process along with other
updates to the verbiage and user interface.
• Updated the order of fields in the Add New Listing process to create consistency between pages.
• Basic Listing Info has been moved from the Location tab to the Agents tab.
• Implemented the following requested changes to New Residential Add/Edit layout:
o New Construction fields moved from the Location tab to the Exterior Features tab.
o “Use GPS” verbiage in Directions changed to “GPS-Friendly”
o New Construction Y/N moved beneath Property Attached Y/N
o Wrapping of Property Attached Y/N and New Construction Y/N labels has been
prevented.
o The following fields have been reordered:
§ Exterior Features
§ Architectural Style
§ Construction Materials
• Fields have been moved out of General tab as other tabs have evolved.
• Feature fields have been divided into Exterior and Interior for Residential Income listings.
• Issue previously effecting the “Reposition on map” button from showing within Add/Edit has
been resolved.
View Ranking by Transaction Volume Within Market Share Report
Within the Market Share Report criteria page there is now an option for creating the report based on
Transaction Volume or Transaction Sides.
When creating the Market Share Report, select the drop-down menu next to Rank/Sort By.
Check the box next to the sort criteria you would like to use.
The Market Share Report will reflect whichever criteria is selected, and now includes the following
options: Total Volume, 1 Side, 2 Sides, and Total Transaction.
Improvements to Data Accuracy throughout connectBLC
In addition, in response to helpful feedback from MIBOR members & continued evaluation by the MIBOR
team, additional improvements to connectBLC functions have been implemented. Improvements in this
release include:
• ”Living Area Source” has been updated to “Building Area Source” within Add/Edit.
• Implemented rules check to prohibit the ability to update a listing status from Pre-Market to Active if a listing for the same property is already Active in the system, preventing duplicate records.
• Strengthened rules check to prevent new Active listings being opened for the same
property as a Withdrawn listing, preventing duplicate records.
• Response within the Basement Y/N field will determine the displayed Foundation
Details field options.
• Basement option has been removed from Levels field.
• Input within the Levels field will determine which relevant room level options will be
displayed.
• Low Maintenance Lifestyle Y/N field has been added to the new Neighborhood tab.
• Enumerations under Fireplace Features are dependent on information already entered
into the system (e.g. Basement Y/N triggers Basement Fireplace option).
• Issue previously affecting Market Share Report only producing results from the Agent’s
current brokerage has been resolved.
• Association fields have been removed from Add/Edit for the Residential Income type.
• Issue previously affecting some changes not being saved when an existing listing was
edited have been resolved.
